Singapore Canoe Marathon
CCHY Dragonboat is sending in four (4) rowers in for Singapore Canoe Marathon 2010, on 17 January 2010. Representing us are: Victor, Tong Yien, Melvin and myself (Shaun). This is the first time CCHY is sending in rowers for Canoe Competitions. We will be rowing in 14km Novice Men Category. There should be 2 K boats and 2 T boats, otherwise 4 T boats. The main objective for taking part in SCM 2010 is to be exposed to Canoe competitions. Through taking part in such competitions can we be more experienced in such activities, and to be a stronger person. For now, lets hope that we will achieve better timings and do the team proud.
